Keller Schroeder is experiencing growth and expanding its operations. We are seeking a Senior Custom Web Application Analyst to become a vital part of our in-house Applications Solutions Group. This role is essential in connecting business requirements with technical solutions through a blend of technical knowledge, business insight, and strong interpersonal skills. The position encompasses both business and technology aspects, focusing on identifying and analyzing challenges, documenting requirements, collaborating with technical teams on solutions, and managing projects effectively. Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Strategic Planning:

  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying potential projects with current clients and new opportunities.
  • Work closely with Keller Schroeder Directors across various divisions and Account Managers to leverage additional expertise for maximizing opportunities.
  • Formulate and implement a strategic vision for the custom application development function, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Business Analysis:

  • Evaluate business processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document project requirements for tailored solutions.
  • Articulate technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented manner through both written and verbal communication.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are in harmony with business objectives and requirements.

Technical Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with technical teams to craft custom solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide insights on system architecture, software design, and technology selections.
  • Guarantee that technical designs are practical, scalable, and adhere to industry best practices for custom web applications.
  • Utilize professional experience to confidently recommend optimal solutions when faced with multiple options.

Project Management:

  • Initiate and oversee projects that encompass both business and technical elements.
  • Develop project scope, objectives, detailed plans, and proposals for custom solutions.
  • Define project tasks, resource needs, estimates, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage risks and challenges.
  • Deliver project updates, status reports, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to testing software solutions and leading when necessary.
  • Ensure that delivered solutions meet quality benchmarks and fulfill business requirements through testing or oversight of the testing process.
  • Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing and quality assurance testing.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving others and embodying the principles of a humble and dedicated leader, ensuring client success and upholding corporate values.
  • Contribute individually and lead teams with humility, positivity, and a sense of ownership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in custom web application development, with a robust background in leading and managing software development teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering complex software projects on schedule and within budget, specifically involving custom web applications built from the ground up.
  • In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficient in custom web application and database design.
  • Strong grasp of modern application architectures and cloud technologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences, including technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in requirements gathering and estimation, skilled in asking insightful questions for clarity and scope.
  • Motivated professional with solid business acumen, an ownership mentality, and proven interpersonal skills.
