Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Strategic Planning:

  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying potential projects with current clients and new prospects.
  • Collaborate effectively with Keller Schroeder Directors across all divisions and Account Managers to seize opportunities requiring additional expertise.
  • Formulate and implement a strategic vision for the custom application development sector, aligning with overarching business goals.

Business Analysis:

  • Evaluate business processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and document project requirements for fully customized solutions.
  • Articulate technical concepts in a proactive, professional, and courteous manner through both written and verbal communication.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are in harmony with business objectives and requirements.

Technical Solution Design:

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to craft custom solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide insights on system architecture, software design, and technology selections.
  • Ensure that technical designs are practical, scalable, and adhere to industry best practices for custom web applications.
  • Leverage professional experience to confidently recommend optimal solutions when multiple options are available.

Project Management:

  • Plan, initiate, and oversee projects that encompass both business and technical elements.
  • Develop project scope, objectives, detailed plans, and proposals for custom solutions.
  • Define project tasks, resource needs, estimates, and timelines.
  • Monitor project advancement, track milestones, and manage risks and challenges.
  • Deliver project updates, status reports, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to testing software solutions and innovating when necessary.
  • Ensure that delivered solutions meet quality standards and fulfill business requirements through testing or oversight of the testing process.
  • Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing and quality assurance testing.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving others as a humble and dedicated leader, ensuring client success while embodying corporate values.
  • Contribute as an individual and lead others with humility, positivity, and a sense of ownership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in custom web application development, with a robust background in leading and managing software development teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering complex software projects on schedule and within budget, specifically including custom web applications built from the ground up.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Expertise in custom web application and database design.
  • A thorough understanding of modern application architectures and cloud technologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for diverse audiences, including technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in requirements gathering and estimation, skilled in asking insightful questions to clarify scope.
