Position Overview

Financial Advisors at The Ladders evaluate and address the future financial and investment requirements of our clients, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong ambition for professional advancement within a motivated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with both new and existing investment and financial planning clients.
  • Evaluate clients' immediate and long-term investment requirements.
  • Provide guidance on investment strategies and financial decisions.
  • Create presentations that recommend various financial products.
  • Monitor and communicate portfolio performance to clients.
  • Develop and update financial plans based on client circumstances.
  • Enhance referral relationships within and outside the financial organization.
  • Implement best practices and systematic processes using industry analytics and strategic planning tools.
  • Engage in local groups and presentation opportunities as suitable.
  • Proactively refer additional financial products and services aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, regulations, and product offerings.
  • Complete necessary continuing education promptly and maintain all required licenses.
  • Adhere to all regulations set forth by relevant authorities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proven experience in developing comprehensive financial strategies and recommending financial solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of investment products and financial planning services.
  • Familiarity with financial planning software.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong technological proficiency.
  • Dedicated work ethic, results-driven, and highly goal-oriented.
  • Ability to present oneself confidently and establish credibility.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with prudent decision-making capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a proven ability to cultivate effective partnerships.
  • A respected business partner who can diplomatically manage conflicts.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple high-level tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Relevant financial industry licenses.
  • Minimum three years of experience in financial services.
  • Successful completion of background checks and assessments.
Preferred:
  • Four-year degree in a business-related field.
  • Professional certifications in financial planning.
  • Experience in a banking or credit union environment.
