Position Overview:
The Oregon State Government is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Budget Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the financial operations of the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).

Key Responsibilities:
As a Budget Analyst, you will:
1. Oversee all aspects of budget creation and implementation for designated programs.
2. Assess budgetary requirements for ongoing and new initiatives, including revenue and expenditure trend analysis.
3. Analyze financial data and prepare reports to evaluate fiscal performance against the approved budget.
4. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of agency budgetary matters and advise management on budget-related inquiries.
5. Review employee time reporting for accuracy and rectify any discrepancies.
