Job Summary:

As a Night Auditor with Park Place Hospitality LLC - Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our hotel's financial transactions. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify the accuracy of guest accounts by balancing departmental income.
  • Perform food and beverage audits to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile postings, charges, and cash for the day to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Transmit daily credit card batches to the bank in a timely and secure manner.
  • Balance all summaries to our financial system, On-Q.
  • Post any incidental charges required and prepare daily and summary reports.
  • Make copies of F&B Squirrel Checks and file for billing purposes.
  • Submit final Audit Packets to the Accounting department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests when required.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude, high level of integrity, enthusiasm, and complete understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to relate in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and follow verbal and written directions efficiently.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of mathematical spreadsheets (Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including weekend hours.
  • Organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills to accomplish tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Basic accounting education would be an asset.
  • Preferably one year of Hotel Night Auditing experience at a full-service hotel.
  • Office, hotel front desk, or experience in working with the public in a customer service industry or related business will be considered a plus.
