  • Parts Selection: Collaborate with technicians to select the correct parts for repairs, ensuring that customers receive the right products for their needs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies and participating in regular physical inventories to ensure that parts are available for technicians.
  • Business Development: Solicit new wholesale business by contacting independent garages, service stations, and body shops, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Account Management: Assist existing accounts with service problems, providing technical support and ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.
  • Credit and Collections: Obtain necessary information to initiate credit on applications for new accounts, while also assisting in the collection process of past due accounts.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Direct and monitor the delivery schedule and maintenance of parts vehicles, ensuring that customers receive their orders in a timely manner.
  • Stocking and Receiving: Stock parts when shipments are received, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with all safety rules and regulations, using personal protective equipment as required, and safeguarding customer and dealer information in accordance with established policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in inventory management and customer service software.
