Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated team of billing professionals across multiple locations.
  • Monitor and report on essential performance metrics.
  • Oversee timely submission of claims, management of denials, and accurate payment processing.
  • Enhance billing procedures to optimize efficiency across various departments.
  • Address and resolve patient inquiries related to billing and claims.
  • Develop strategies to reduce Days in Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure compliance and integrity in all billing and collections activities.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on positivity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A genuine commitment to assisting patients in overcoming health challenges.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a billing-related environment, including team development and performance management.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for enhancing team performance and financial outcomes.
  • Support management in recognizing barriers to financial success, including Charge Capture and Patient Collections.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of billing processes and practices.
  • Experience in professional billing, preferably in mental health.
  • Proven skills in process improvement and development.
  • Professional demeanor and conduct.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on achieving results.
