Implementation Consultant

Position:

The Implementation Consultant will provide support for the Destiny products within the Follett Learning portfolio. This role encompasses project management, software deployment services, and acts as the primary point of contact between internal teams and the client throughout the deployment process. The consultant is responsible for maintaining client relationships and serves as the technical liaison during the deployment phase. Ensuring the successful implementation of solutions, this role guarantees that projects are completed on time and within budget. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in SaaS or software deployment is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates client requirements and application goals. Collaborates with the client and/or project manager to gather necessary information; participates in project initiation, deployment planning, and adheres to an established project timeline.
  • Implements a project plan to ensure all components of the solution are accurately configured and aligned with client expectations.
  • Confirms that the solution is set up and deployed as intended, meets deadlines, and addresses any risks to project objectives.
  • Educates clients on the fundamental technical features and settings of the solution.
  • Provides regular updates to clients and tracks all activities and project tasks, documenting time spent.
  • Conducts project closure activities and facilitates a successful transition to other teams within Customer Experience (Success and Technical Support).
  • Records all project-related activities and updates assigned tasks as necessary.
  • Documents all time spent on both billable and non-billable tasks.
  • Regularly reports progress to all internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Delivers consistent status updates to management.
  • Offers pre-sales assistance as required to ensure proper project scoping.
  • Acts as post-sales technical support as needed during the project.
  • Participates in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and interpersonal skills for effective SaaS implementation and management.
  • Attends team meetings, company gatherings, and other internal events.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
