Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist IV to join our team at AdventHealth East Orlando. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional, electrophysiology diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures, and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.

Identify and prepare patients using aseptic technique as dictated by procedure ordered.

Follow CDC isolation guidelines, appropriately use PPE, and perform hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.

Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.

Perform treatments and administer medications according to policy and training.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Current, valid license in one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.
