Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist V to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional procedures, diagnostic/interventional electrophysiology procedures, and structural heart or interventional neuro radiology procedures.
  • Prepare and assess patients using aseptic technique, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
  • Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
  • Perform treatments and administer medications according to policy and training.
  • Function effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team or electrophysiology laboratory.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current, valid license in one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.

  • Cardiovascular Lab experience.
  • Interventional Radiology Lab experience.
  • Pediatric Lab experience.
  • Peripheral Lab experience.
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience.
