About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist V EPS to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional procedures, diagnostic/interventional electrophysiology procedures, and structural heart or interventional neuro radiology procedures.
  • Prepare and assess patients using aseptic technique, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
  • Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed, and perform treatments and administer medications according to policy and training.
  • Function effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team or electrophysiology laboratory, and take call as rotated/assigned and respond per policy.
  • Learns and upgrades skills, utilizes knowledge base to assist with orientation, training, and education of new personnel, and provides training for procedures within their competency.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current, valid license in one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.
