About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist V to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional procedures, diagnostic/interventional electrophysiology procedures, and structural heart or interventional neuro radiology procedures.
  • Prepare and assess patients using aseptic technique, and monitor their condition during procedures.
  • Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments according to policy and training.
  • Produce accurate and complete medical records for each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient throughput and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current, valid license in one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.
