About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist IV to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during complex cardiac interventional, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Prepare and assess patients using aseptic technique, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
  • Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments according to policy and training.
  • Produce accurate and complete medical records for each patient.
  • Collaborate with the therapeutic cardiac laboratory team to ensure effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Current, valid license in one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in complex cardiac interventional procedures, electrophysiology diagnostic and interventional procedures, pediatric invasive procedures, or structural heart procedures.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
