ARC Document Solutions is seeking a Service Center Operations Supervisor to enhance our commitment to providing exceptional employment experiences for our team and outstanding service for our clientele.

Position Overview:

The Service Center Operations Supervisor is responsible for guiding the workforce to achieve excellence in service quality, which includes recruiting, training, and overseeing both new and existing personnel. This role ensures that ARC's standards are not only met but exceeded in interactions with both customers and employees. Additional responsibilities include fostering effective communication within the branch and across other ARC locations to deliver superior customer service and adopting a proactive approach to operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fiscal and operational management of daily activities within the assigned branch.
  • Design and execute a quality management strategy that aligns with the company's annual objectives and long-term vision.
  • Collaborate with other Service Center Managers and supervisors to meet client deadlines.
  • Engage and motivate team members to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Establish and uphold standards for branch operations and product offerings.
  • Develop metrics to assess branch performance against established benchmarks.
  • Monitor performance in key areas and take appropriate actions to address any discrepancies.
  • Implement and communicate quality management systems across all departments.
  • Plan and manage departmental activities within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Maintain effective inventory controls.
  • Oversee cash sales reporting and submissions.
  • Report on changes to standards and performance metrics.
  • Manage staff in accordance with company policies, including appraisals and training.
  • Ensure departmental performance aligns with targets and budgets.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues.
  • Contribute to the development of executive policies and strategies.
  • Maintain a well-organized branch environment.
  • Develop tools for tracking errors and compliance with deadlines.
  • Ensure operational quality control systems are in place for all processes.
  • Facilitate smooth shift transitions, if applicable.
  • Monitor supply levels effectively.
  • Uphold security and safety standards within the facility.
  • Submit all branch reports punctually.
  • Direct production activities and set priorities based on operational efficiency and cost considerations.
  • Maintain a professional and high-quality work environment.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and problematic orders.
  • Recruit, train, and assess personnel to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in managing a print shop or signage location.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while aligning operations with sales objectives.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently and resourcefully.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
