About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Consultant to join our team at Amerant Bank. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banking centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with banking center managers to maintain operational integrity, provide daily operation support, and answer banking center team member operations questions.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and promote strategies to improve the efficiency of banking center operations, partner with banking centers to create tools that support day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with security and control policies.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Partner with banking center managers to assess team member needs, provide coaching and education, and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Customer Service: Adhere to customer service expectations, act as a customer advocate, and provide quality customer service to all current and prospective customers.
  • Bank Transformation: Adhere to all expectations defined for a banking center, take lead responsibility for coaching team members, and promote a culture of energy and excitement.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or GED required, AA or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years domestic retail bank experience, preferably with back office and field experience.
  • Technical Skills: Previous experience with Internet and MS Office Skills, including MS Word Advanced, MS Excel Advanced, and MS PowerPoint Advanced.
