Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Carpentry Foreman to oversee our dedicated team of carpenters in the construction sector. The successful candidate will possess robust carpentry expertise, a comprehensive understanding of wood and metal framing, and familiarity with various trades such as drywall installation, painting, flooring, and acoustic ceilings. This position demands exceptional leadership, professionalism, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage a team of carpenters and laborers on commercial construction assignments.
  • Organize and implement wood and metal framing activities in line with project requirements and timelines.
  • Guarantee superior workmanship while complying with safety regulations and building standards.
  • Collaborate with other trades, including drywall, flooring, painting, and finish carpentry, to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Oversee materials and equipment management, ensuring effective utilization and minimal waste.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior carpenters and apprentices.
  • Engage in effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized job site.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in carpentry, with specialization in wood and metal framing for commercial projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of various carpentry disciplines, including drywall, flooring, painting, and finish carpentry.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
  • Dedication to safety and quality craftsmanship.
  • Professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
