OnTrac is seeking a dedicated Lead Package Handler to oversee essential operations within our logistics team.

Role Overview:

The Lead Package Handler is pivotal in managing the unloading, loading, and sorting of packages for efficient distribution. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with Sort and Operations Managers to mentor new team members, drive performance metrics, and uphold our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the unloading and sorting of incoming packages for distribution, as well as prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Train new sorters in safe and accurate task execution.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to team members to foster improvement.
  • Conduct inspections of packages to ensure they meet safety standards for transportation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience or training, or a combination of both.
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
