Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Technician to join our team at Rebuild. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in supporting our skilled tradespeople and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project leads in various tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment.
  • Perform carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, framing, sheathing, siding.
  • Install, repair, and maintain siding, sheathing, and roofing materials under supervision.
  • Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead carpenter or project manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Technician in the construction industry.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to operate construction tools and equipment.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
