Job Overview

We are in search of a meticulous Payroll Coordinator to become a vital part of our organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring payroll is processed with precision and within designated timelines, while adhering to all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process payroll for all employees in a timely manner.
  • Maintain payroll functions by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Generate reports that summarize earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Work in conjunction with HR to ensure the accuracy of employee information.
  • Support benefits administration tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in payroll processing is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in 10-key typing.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices.
  • Understanding of accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience in administrative roles.
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
  • Awareness of governmental accounting regulations.
  • Ability to conduct general ledger reconciliations.
  • Experience with Kronos or similar timekeeping systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in managing journal entries.
