Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG), a prominent independent broker-dealer, is currently on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Analyst. This role is pivotal in delivering software support and training to our Financial Advisors and their teams regarding the various products and services we offer. The position primarily focuses on customer service, with minimal technical expertise required initially. Any necessary technical training will be provided upon hiring. The analyst will also collaborate with multiple departments, including Operations, Compliance, and Supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alerts related to security systems
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Manage vulnerabilities
- Gather and analyze threat intelligence
- Conduct threat hunting activities
- Oversee cyber risk management initiatives
- Implement process enhancements and automation for detection and response
- Engage in ongoing research of cybersecurity threats to identify organizational risks
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in IT and information systems security
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in a related field
- Experience with IT ticketing systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
- Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
