Job Overview

Position Summary:

Parco, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead our tooling department, ensuring the implementation of advanced manufacturing practices and the development of innovative products. The Molding Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all tooling functions, including mold design, fabrication, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all tooling department machinery and equipment.
  • Design and construct molds for Parco, reviewing designs prior to production.
  • Oversee the repair of molds, prioritizing repair tasks effectively.
  • Diagnose and resolve molding issues promptly.
  • Inspect machined inserts and manage the insert production schedule.
  • Maintain tooling machinery and ensure optimal operation.
  • Enforce safety protocols within the department.
  • Support production by ensuring timely completion of tooling tasks.
  • Provide training, guidance, and disciplinary actions for team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a machinist, programmer, or supervisor in a machining environment is preferred.
  • Expertise in Solidworks and Mastercam is required, with at least five years of experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a machine shop is essential.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to apply independent judgment in operational processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods, workflows, and production processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
