We are in search of an individual to provide essential support to the firm's senior principal. This role demands exceptional organizational capabilities, well-honed investment and financial acumen, and outstanding communication skills. As part of a compact team, the ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to handle various responsibilities throughout the day.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for investments. If you thrive on exploring companies, delving into investment literature, and engaging with business and investment-related media, this opportunity is tailored for you.

The primary focus of this position will involve evaluating, researching, analyzing, and composing insights on public equities, real estate, and private equity investments.

Above all, this role requires an individual with strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas in a clear and straightforward manner is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Principal on due diligence and research for both existing and prospective investment opportunities.
  • Engage in project-related tasks associated with the current portfolio investments.
  • Maintain and develop financial models for ongoing and potential investments.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from primary sources.
  • Create and manage internal databases and spreadsheets for macroeconomic indicators, industry trends, and specific investments.
  • Exhibit a high level of comfort with technology.
  • Track performance metrics for existing real estate and private equity investments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the investment sector.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with financial resources and databases.
  • Experience in financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding that working in a rapidly growing firm necessitates flexibility and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Compensation

In addition to a competitive base salary, the selected candidate will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The firm also offers benefits including medical coverage and a 401K plan.
