Green Recruitment Company is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to lead designated transactions and oversee the contributions of Analysts or Associates.
Company Overview:This organization specializes in strategic advisory services for clients across the entire renewable energy landscape, utilizing capital markets and sector technology knowledge to deliver strategic project financing, capital acquisition, and M&A solutions.
As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will be granted significant responsibility and independence from the beginning, collaborating closely with mid-senior level management and reporting to a Director on the deals team. Your additional duties will encompass participation in financial and business due diligence, acting as the Engagement Lead on specific client accounts, pre-engagement planning and execution, and the development of final deliverables.
Responsibilities:- Analyze and construct advanced financial models and valuations utilized in client proposals and strategic plans, including DCF, trading comparables, tax equity structures, and debt financing.
- Design and evaluate tax equity structures.
- Oversee daily deal execution, engaging with senior deal team members, client management teams, transaction counterparties, and other advisors.
- Assist clients in due diligence by coordinating information flow, supervising communications and meetings between parties, and reviewing and analyzing company data.
- Work autonomously, producing high-quality deliverables such as Confidential Investment Memorandums, board materials, and other presentation documents for tax equity financing and M&A transactions or client presentations.
- Provide mentorship, leadership, and oversight to Analysts.
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline; Master's degree with a focus in Finance, Engineering, Math, or Economics preferred.
- Must complete SIE, Series 79, and 63 exams within the initial onboarding period.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in strategic business consulting, valuation, and/or investment banking.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in tax equity structuring and transactions.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in financial modeling is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and decarbonization.
