Lead Growth Initiatives for Amazon's Fastest Growing Business

Are you interested in driving growth initiatives for one of Amazon's most significant and fastest growing businesses? As a Principal Product Manager, US Global Selling, you will lead growth initiatives for US-based selling partners who are expanding globally.

The Amazon Marketplace enables over 2 million third-party selling partners in eleven marketplaces to list their products for sale to Amazon customers across the world. Within our WW Marketplace business, International Seller Services (ISS) oversees the recruiting and development of Selling Partners for all of our international marketplaces.

This role will focus on leading strategic and/or performance critical products and programs. You will develop a strategy and product vision for US sellers' global expansion working closely with multiple products teams across WW Amazon Stores.

You will identify and implement critical mechanisms to manage implementation of delivery performance initiatives, including goal performance, business review, and multi-year planning.

The role requires a detailed understanding of and ability to balance product, technology, and program/stakeholder management.

A successful candidate will have to manage complex, multi-faceted products/programs, influencing across organizational boundaries, creating alignment on collective goals, interacting with senior leaders, and driving progress.

They will have the capability to analyze complex business data, generate actionable insights, drive cross-functional solutions, and report progress to senior leadership.

The leader will embrace ambiguity and drive clarity across teams and organizations. This role requires strong relationship building skills and sound business judgment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing end-to-end ownership of product vision, strategy, and execution
  • Defining product roadmap and leading cross-functional teams
  • Driving day-to-day product development from design through to release
  • Providing clear and concise product requirements and measurable success criteria
  • Escalating when necessary without damaging relationships

Basic qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience owning technology products
  • MBA
  • Previous global scope or international work experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
