Job Summary:


The Principal Global Sales Strategy is responsible for defining the overall sales strategy for Alaska Airlines, identifying areas of significant incremental revenue opportunity, and developing innovative new ideas and processes to move the business forward.


This role will focus on analyzing Agency and Leisure discounting, cost-of-sale, point-of-sale commissions, and incrementality to create a framework and cohesive strategy that maximizes revenue, market share, and overall sales profitability.


The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in data analytics, sales, distribution, finance, project management, or related areas, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


They will also have demonstrated data skills using SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or PowerBI, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive outcomes in the best interest of the company and with others in the organization.


The Principal Global Sales Strategy will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the launch, maintenance, and enhancement of a compelling and competitive SMB product, and will own and proactively seek out new and innovative strategic initiatives.


They will also define and measure complex KPI metrics and align goals to drive business process and sales revenue improvements focused on incrementality.


This is an exempt, full-time regular position located at our Seattle Corporate HQ.
