About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our Undiscovered and Small Business Accelerator Program. This program aims to create generational wealth for business owners who face challenges like access to capital, lack of business education and mentorship, and limited networking opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of technical product or program management experience and a strong track record of owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition. They will also have experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements and be familiar with project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.

The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for defining the Selling Partner experience for our target population of Selling Partners who face systemic barriers due to their identity based on race, gender, sexual preference, ability status, etc. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on goals and partner with education, business development, and marketing teams to serve Selling Partners better.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap and priority for Selling Partner Experiences offered via the Undiscovered and Small Business Accelerator Program
  • Partner with technical and product teams across Selling Partner Services organization to deliver on goals
  • Work with engineers to deliver product enhancements and drive feature delivery and tradeoffs

About the Team

The Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) helps drive the success of small and historically underrepresented business populations. As a part of the USBA, Amazon has committed to empower Black entrepreneurs through the Black Business Accelerator (BBA), which provides access to educational, financial, and advisory resources that support Black-owned business owners succeed as sellers in Amazon's store.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
