Job Summary

SOME, Inc. is seeking a Night Monitor to provide security and monitoring services for our elderly housing program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and secure the housing facility during nighttime hours
  • Respond to client issues and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct regular house walk-throughs to ensure the facility is secure and well-maintained
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as shift logs and incident reports
  • Monitor and document client medications
  • Perform cleaning duties and assist with meal preparation
  • Enforce program policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in social services and experience working with seniors
  • HS Diploma/GED; 3-5 years of experience in social services and experience working with seniors (preferred)
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and set professional boundaries
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Working Conditions

The Night Monitor will work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to sit or stand for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and move around all levels/floors of the building.
