About the Role:

The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of Restaurant Associates, ensuring the highest level of quality and excellence in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu plans and recipes to meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Manage and supervise a team of culinary staff, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Oversee the purchasing and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that all products meet the company's standards for quality and sustainability.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume food service establishment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Passion for great food and hospitality, with a commitment to excellence in all aspects of culinary operations.
