Position Overview

The role of the Geotechnical Principal involves providing advanced technical guidance and supporting the Geotechnical team across various branches and regions. You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating or participating in project discussions with clients and ECS personnel to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Mentoring Associate Principals and contributing to the evaluation committee for candidates pursuing Associate Principal status in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Overseeing project execution and ensuring quality through technical report assessments.
  • Drafting and reviewing project proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Assisting in departmental management and financial oversight.
  • Engaging in business development activities and supporting marketing efforts to enhance client relationships.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to make informed staffing choices.
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers to foster professional growth.
  • Due to the collaborative nature of our work, you may also undertake similar responsibilities in related departments.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Current designation as a senior reviewer at your present or past organization is mandatory.
  • A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required in the states where you operate.
  • A valid driver’s license is necessary if you will be driving for ECS subsidiaries.
