Position Overview

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Leader, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized knowledge and guidance to our Geotechnical team across various branches and regions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects and fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Offer technical support and mentorship to Geotechnical staff, enhancing their professional development.
- Participate in or lead project discussions with clients and ECS personnel to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Engage in the evaluation process for candidates aspiring to achieve Associate Principal status.
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of technical reports and proposals, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Assist in departmental management, including oversight of financial performance and profitability.
- Drive business development initiatives and support marketing efforts by nurturing client relationships.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed staffing decisions.
- Provide leadership and coaching to junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and learning.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in the geotechnical engineering sector.
- Board endorsement is mandatory for this role; candidates must hold a Principal designation as per ECS Senior Technical Staff Policies and Procedures.
- A valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is essential in the states of operation.
- A valid driver’s license is required for any driving responsibilities associated with ECS.
