Job Overview

MMP Staffing is seeking a committed and skilled Community Engagement Specialist to deliver exceptional service to residents, visitors, and team members at our property. The successful candidate will be tasked with showcasing and leasing apartments, assisting residents during their transition, and providing administrative support to the Community and/or Services Maintenance Manager. Familiarity with Section 8 housing and LIHTC is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support: Respond to all inquiries promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Scheduling: Arrange and conduct in-person property tours as required.
  • Resident Interaction: Address resident inquiries and concerns, directing them as appropriate.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Initiate and track Maintenance Service Requests, ensuring follow-up with residents.
  • Property Showings: Welcome potential tenants and present property features in accordance with established procedures.
  • Application Management: Handle application processing and prequalify potential residents.
  • Inspection Duties: Perform inspections to confirm apartments are ready for occupancy.
  • Community Activities: Organize and participate in community events.
  • Payment Processing: Oversee the rental payment procedures.
  • Lease Management: Prepare lease renewals and recertifications.
Additional Duties:
  • Support community cleanliness and enhance curb appeal.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis of nearby communities.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely distribution of resident notifications.
  • Maintain accurate records for office operations and staff.
  • Process and code invoices efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year in a customer service role.
