We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housing Choice Voucher Administrator to join our team at the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh.
About the Role:
- As a Housing Choice Voucher Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with program regulations and administering the Housing Choice Voucher program.
- You will coordinate with landlords, property owners, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
- Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing data on tenant and landlord interactions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- You will also assist with outreach efforts to recruit new participants and promote the benefits of the Housing Choice Voucher program.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the Housing Choice Voucher program, ensuring compliance with program regulations.
- Monitor and analyze data on tenant and landlord interactions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Coordinate with landlords, property owners, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote landlord participation in the Housing Choice Voucher program.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience in public housing or a similar environment is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and specialized programs used by the Housing Authority.
