The Senior Director of Customer Logistics will be responsible for leading the financial and operational aspects of customer logistics, with a focus on profit and loss management and sales growth within a designated geographical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales process by participating in business development opportunities with new customers.

  • Ensure the effective selection, placement, development, and retention of talent to meet current and future business needs.
  • Forecast, plan, manage, and ensure locations meet defined financial targets.
  • Monitor and hold operations accountable for maintaining a safety culture that meets or exceeds annual safety targets.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Responsible for customer service, customer relationships, business retention and development, strategic initiatives, and annual plan implementation.
  • Manage P&L for all locations under supervision.
  • Continuously improve all segments of the business.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead direct reports.
  • Maintain a positive employee-related climate and customer satisfaction index at a World Class Level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field, or an additional two related experience required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Ten or more years of logistics/supply chain experience in multiple locations, plants, warehouses, locations, transportation hubs, etc., required.
  • Five or more years of demonstrated experience developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills required.
  • Five or more years of P&L responsibility, including forecasting and managing financial targets, required.
  • Six or more years of managing, leading, and developing direct reports required.
  • Six or more years of managing large multi-level teams required.
