Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaborating closely with the Executive Management Team, particularly the Chief Executive Officer, VP of Commercial, VP of Operations, and VP of Product, the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role is vital in assessing performance and facilitating operational and strategic decision-making. This position is an exceptional opportunity to influence both financial outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

  • Engage with the Finance team and senior leadership across various business functions to create, sustain, and enhance financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan analysis from inception to completion.
  1. Oversee performance tracking against the annual budget, conducting regular and thorough forecasts to evaluate the Company's results and accomplishments within assigned departments.
  • Compile and update the weekly sales forecast for the current month and quarterly sales outlook, comparing against budget and forecast by revenue line.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly analyses by business line, customer, revenue line/product/project, and other necessary dimensions.
  • Collect and evaluate data related to sales performance, customer trends, and market dynamics.
  • Examine financial data and performance indicators to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Establish a robust financial reporting framework, ensuring reconciliation of financial data across accounting systems, sales databases, and operational platforms as required.
  • Play a crucial role in preparing management reports, variance analyses, and presentations for the Executive Management Team and Board meetings.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Guarantee precise and timely data collection, validation, and maintenance for FP&A activities.
  • Continuously review, refine, and enhance data processes and tools to improve quality, reliability, and efficiency in report preparation.
  • Develop and maintain tailored reports and dashboards, advancing the use of relevant tools (e.g., NetSuite, Excel, ERP, SalesForce, Tableau).
  • Assist in due diligence and provide analytical and advisory support for acquisitions and the integration of financial and administrative functions for acquired entities, as necessary.
  • Prepare reports at the CFO's request for the Executive Management Team and Board of Directors on relevant areas within the role's scope.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, particularly as the Company expands and grows through acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management.
  • A Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred (e.g., CPA, CFA designation).
  • At least 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and various software platforms such as NetSuite, SalesForce, and Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of automated financial and accounting reporting systems and processes.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, dependent on various factors including the successful candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
