As part of our Global Cost Optimization team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives that are crucial to our company's success. We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Manager, Cost Optimization.

In this influential role, you will report directly to the Director of Cost Optimization and will be instrumental in transforming the financial framework of our organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various business units to identify key cost factors and guide the development and execution of cost-saving strategies across essential operational areas.
  • Lead priority cost optimization projects throughout the organization, serving as a reliable source for financial insights and operational processes.
  • Work cross-departmentally with finance and business partners to establish tracking mechanisms, analyze data, and drive cost optimization efforts.
  • Oversee initiatives from conception to implementation, ensuring successful execution.
  • Conduct data analysis to provide valuable business intelligence for the Cost Optimization portfolio.
  • Assist in creating a detailed cost optimization roadmap and manage the reporting and analysis of program advancements.
  • Prepare comprehensive materials and reports for Executive Leadership, including board members.

Your Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, program management, or management consulting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in management, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including skills in VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives to completion with minimal oversight.
  • In-depth understanding of financial and operational metrics across the P&L spectrum.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to senior executives.
  • A passion for advancing the automotive and mobility sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive, mobility, or related industries.
