Radiation Oncology Nurse

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiation oncology. As a Registered Professional Nurse in our Radiation Therapy department, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and expert care to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans and render radiation therapy treatment.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of radiation therapy staff, ensuring efficient and effective treatment delivery.
- Maintain competence in radiation therapy procedures and technologies, and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- BSN degree.
- Oncology experience highly preferred.
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
