Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and exceptional patient care. As a Registered Professional Nurse in Radiation Oncology, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality treatment to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans and render radiation therapy treatment.
- Supervise staff and ensure the effective and efficient operation of radiation therapy equipment.
- Maintain competence in performing various tasks associated with radiation therapy responsibilities.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- BSN degree.
- Oncology experience highly preferred.
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
