About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the radiation oncology department.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to educate them on treatment options and promote understanding of their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 1 year of Oncology experience.
