Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, while also supervising staff and ensuring the efficient operation of our treatment machines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering radiation therapy and monitoring patient responses.
- Supervise and mentor staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in radiation oncology, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN in a radiation oncology setting.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCL) and other unit-specific certifications.
- BSN degree and national certification in a clinical specialty are preferred.
