Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of treatment plans and render radiation therapy treatment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of designated staff, ensuring efficient and effective operation of radiation therapy equipment.
  • Maintain competence in radiation therapy procedures and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Oncology experience highly preferred.
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
