Position Overview

The Membership Engagement Coordinator will embody the UFC GYM ethos by delivering a friendly, informative, and enjoyable experience for all members and visitors during their time at the facility. This role is pivotal in attracting prospective members to the gym while providing exceptional customer service to existing members. Success in this position is measured by surpassing personal revenue goals set by management through both proactive outreach and relationship building.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Appointment Scheduling
  • Conduct external marketing initiatives, promotions, and outreach efforts. This involves off-site activities such as distributing promotional materials, establishing partnerships with local businesses, and organizing community events to raise awareness of UFC GYM and its offerings, ultimately generating leads.
  • Engage in internal marketing by gathering leads during enrollment and from the current member base through relationship development and referral initiatives.
  • Schedule membership appointments through effective phone communication, aiming to meet or exceed monthly appointment targets.
  • Ensure that appointments lead to a sufficient number of guests to meet or exceed monthly visitation goals.
Guest Tours, Membership Presentations, & Sales Performance
  • Guarantee that every guest receives a comprehensive Fitness Tour as outlined in the Membership Engagement Coordinator Playbook. The goal is to achieve a 50% enrollment rate from tours and a 25% conversion to Personal Training.
  • Utilize the company-approved presentation format when discussing membership options with potential members. Ensure that each new member meets with a manager before finalizing the sales process.
  • Meet or exceed financial targets in the Personal Sales Room, including New Member Sales Revenue and Personal Training Revenue.
  • Hold Sales Drivers accountable for achieving the necessary sales behaviors that align with the Key Metrics established by management.
  • Maintain the integrity of each sale by ensuring all required documentation and signatures are collected.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Follow up with newly enrolled members to ensure their expectations are being met.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service during all interactions with guests.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and functional facility.
  • Work to retain members who express a desire to cancel their membership, involving management as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Sales schedules are prepared a month in advance and must be adhered to. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.
  • Attendance at mandatory monthly team meetings and daily production meetings is expected.
  • Uniform standards must be followed, including wearing the designated UFC Gym attire.
  • Accurate timekeeping is essential, with all work hours recorded using the company system.
Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales techniques and practices.
  • General understanding of the fitness industry.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of company sales training and orientation is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience is preferred.
This position is with an independently owned and operated franchise. All hiring decisions will be made by the franchise management.
