Backroom Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backroom Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

• Merchandise Execution: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by executing receiving and merchandising standards, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, and ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with peers and supervisors to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor, train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
• Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers, provide exceptional customer service, and promote a culture of honesty and integrity.

• Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Communication and Organization: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
