Position Overview

The Membership Engagement Coordinator will embody the UFC GYM ethos by delivering a friendly, informative, and engaging experience for all members and visitors during their time at the facility. This role is pivotal in attracting prospective members to the gym while providing exceptional customer service to both new and existing members. Success in this position will be measured by achieving personal revenue targets set by management through effective outreach and relationship-building.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Appointment Scheduling
  • Conduct external marketing initiatives, promotions, and outreach activities. This includes off-site events, distributing promotional materials, and establishing partnerships with local businesses to raise awareness of UFC GYM services, ultimately generating leads.
  • Engage in internal marketing efforts by collecting leads during member enrollments and fostering relationships with current members to encourage referrals.
  • Schedule membership consultations through proactive phone outreach, aiming to meet or exceed monthly appointment targets.
  • Ensure that scheduled appointments convert into sufficient guest visits to meet or surpass monthly guest visit goals.
Guest Tours, Membership Presentations, & Sales Performance
  • Deliver comprehensive fitness tours to all guests, ensuring that at least 50% of those who tour the facility proceed to membership enrollment and 25% opt for personal training.
  • Utilize the company-approved presentation format when discussing membership options with potential members, ensuring that each new member meets with a manager before finalizing their enrollment.
  • Achieve or exceed financial targets related to new member sales and personal training revenue each month.
  • Maintain accountability for sales behaviors that align with the Key Metrics established by management.
  • Ensure all sales transactions are documented accurately, including necessary signatures and supporting documentation.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Follow up with new members to ensure their expectations are being met and exceeded.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during all interactions with guests.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and functional gym environment.
  • Work to retain members who express a desire to cancel their memberships, involving management as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Adhere to a pre-set sales schedule, which is distributed monthly and requires availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Participate in mandatory team meetings and daily production meetings.
  • Comply with the uniform policy, which includes wearing the designated UFC Gym attire and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Accurately record work hours using the company timekeeping system, ensuring compliance with all timekeeping policies.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and practices.
  • Basic understanding of the fitness industry.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of company sales training and orientation is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience is preferred.
