Cameron County is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seasonal Office Aide to support our administrative functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clerical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry, document processing, and record-keeping.
- Provide administrative support to supervisors and other departments as needed.
- Assist with scheduling events and meetings, preparing correspondence, and transmitting information to county departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
- Perform special projects and research as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, managers, vendors, and the public.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in clerical and/or administrative support work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Working Conditions
This is a seasonal position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 10 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
