Senior Interior Designer Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team at K. Dixon Architecture, PLLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations for our design staff and project managers, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage design teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement design strategies and solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Mentor and develop junior designers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in leading medium to large-scale projects, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality design solutions
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in design software and tools
  • NCIDQ certification is a must
