Job Summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our team in the Quantico, VA area. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will provide interior design assistance for design and construction projects, utilizing your knowledge of design principles and practices to interpret, organize, coordinate, communicate, and execute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform as a consultant in the establishment of space and furniture design standards and criteria for construction projects.
  • Provide on-site field survey measurements and verification.
  • Prepare space and stacking plans.
  • Develop construction documents, select finishes, and plan spaces.
  • Utilize computer-assisted design software such as Revit and SketchUp.
Requirements
  • Must successfully complete and pass Riverside Community Care's Motor Vehicle screening.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • US Government Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
  • 10 years' experience as an Interior Designer in commercial/government office building design and construction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • US Government Top Secret security clearance.
  • Interior Design license.
  • Experience working with governmental agencies at the federal, city, county, and state levels.
  • 20 years' experience as an Interior Designer in commercial/government office building design and construction.
Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
