Location Overview:
The Houston Marriott Westchase stands as one of the largest full-service Marriott hotels in the area, featuring over 604 renovated guest rooms and more than 40,000 square feet of event space, including a grand ballroom and numerous meeting rooms. Our elite staff is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a friendly and positive atmosphere.

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Front Desk Agents who are responsible for providing outstanding service to enhance every aspect of the guest's stay. This role involves anticipating guest needs and creating personalized experiences while adhering to established company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register guests, assigning rooms according to best practices.
  • Adhere to company and brand service policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about room availability and upgrade options.
  • Manage guest reservations effectively.
  • Process charges to guest accounts and handle payments accurately.
  • Issue room keys while following security protocols.
  • Maintain knowledge of room types, amenities, and rates.
  • Assist with phone inquiries as needed.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints professionally.
  • Complete all required training within specified deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Able to manage guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for guest information.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and moving throughout the front desk area.
  • Ability to respond to safety concerns and emergencies.
  • Professional appearance is required.

Experience:
Previous experience in front desk operations, guest services, or customer service in a hotel setting is preferred.
