About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our Global Hospitality team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing all production, operation, and sanitation aspects of culinary and stewarding operations throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily schedules and coordinate event operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor food and labor costs to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure all products meet our high standards for quality and safety.
  • Develop innovative menu offerings based on guest and client feedback.
  • Lead a team with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily.
  • Comply with Health Department regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Write, cost, test, and maintain menu specifications, recipes, and production forecasts.
  • Adhere to inventory and labor control measures and perform inventory counts as requested.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relations with clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a high-volume full-service food operation.
  • Proven track record in improving kitchen efficiencies, quality, and relative costs.
  • Excellent leadership, financial analysis, team building, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain Food Protection Manager Certification.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull approximately 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
