Job Summary

The Area Sales Vice President is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales quotas within a defined territory. This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute plans to build and develop a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to deliver quota and drive revenue growth
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruiting, interviewing, and selecting talent
  • Coach and develop sales executives and sales leaders to achieve sales goals
  • Oversee the development and implementation of individual and regional business plans
  • Ensure sales team alignment with Paycor sales processes, practices, and policies
  • Analyze sales activity and results to direct performance and provide input to senior management reporting
Requirements
  • 5-7 years' experience leading a high-performing sales team
  • Ability to manage and analyze all areas associated with sales activities and processes to track and ensure goals are achieved
  • Proven track record of leading a sales team to overachievement of assigned quota
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent, including individual contributor sellers AND sales leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 4-year business degree
