We are on the lookout for a proactive and seasoned National Event Staffing Director to manage our staffing operations across the country. This crucial role is responsible for addressing the varied and intricate staffing requirements of our clients with accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strategic outlook, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the experiential marketing sector.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Formulate and implement national staffing strategies that align with corporate objectives and client demands. Recognize avenues for enhancement in staffing operations.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Spearhead the recruitment process for regional staffing coordinators and recruiters. Craft job descriptions, conduct interviews, and facilitate effective onboarding for new hires.
  • Team Development: Provide continuous feedback, mentorship, and growth opportunities for team members. Establish clear performance standards and objectives that align with organizational goals.
  • Resource Management: Evaluate project requirements and modify team size and structure as necessary. Ensure optimal resource distribution to fulfill client expectations and project deadlines.
  • Business Growth: Propel sales expansion by identifying new business prospects and nurturing existing client relationships. Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling staffing solutions that align with client needs.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage job and program budgets, ensuring compliance with financial protocols and profitability benchmarks. Track expenses, oversee invoicing and billing, and analyze financial data to enhance resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Database Management: Administer the Staff Connect database for staffing recruitment, event management, reporting, and payroll functions. Ensure timely and accurate updates and communications to support seamless operations.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients. Comprehend their staffing needs and ensure our solutions surpass their expectations.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of both temporary and permanent staff. Ensure a high-caliber talent pool through effective sourcing and screening methodologies.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and refine staffing operations to guarantee efficiency and scalability. Implement best practices and leverage technology to optimize processes.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics to track staffing metrics, identify patterns, and make informed decisions. Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all staffing practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in employment legislation.
  • Innovative Solutions: Keep abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies. Propose and implement innovative strategies to enhance staffing operations and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in staffing or recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in managing Alcohol/Liquor sampling events is highly desirable.

Skills: Exceptional communication abilities. Capacity to strategize, plan, and execute high-volume staffing needs in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment.

Work Style: Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills are essential. Self-motivated with a proactive attitude. Demonstrates urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Excel, Google Sheets, or other analytical tools for monitoring staffing metrics, financial data, and performance reports. Expertise in managing professional communication through email platforms.
